Bom Bom State Forest (Grafton NSW)

went for a look round bom bom state forest today was really cut up and wet so i didn't do alot as i was on my own

yeah was lots of standing water and looked very cut up in places would be good to explore it some more just have to wait till i am not on my own hahaha

Is that the state forest on the highway south of Grafton? I'm sure I've seen the sign when I've been to Pebbly. Always thought what it would be like in there.

I guess I'll have to PM you when I next head Pebbly way and go for a squizz.

yeah it is. you turn off the highway at old lilypool road and access bom bom state forest from there. i haven't been into alot of it as yet as it is very wet and well i am sure i would get stuck some where on my own :)

u pritty much go in off lilypool rd and do a masive loop in there and can come out back on hwy or were u started from nuthing hard in there except bog holes and clay on the tracks...oh and peoples rubbish everywere

yeah there was someone living in there the other day hahaha. oh well there is also alot more state forests surrounding grafton to explore yet as well :)

affraid i can't argue with the damage that has been done to the roads out there. most has some big arse rutts in them. hopefully that don't start gating them of too!

Try going for a run from Tucabia to Brooms Head through Pine Brush and Candole SF and Yuragir. It's awesome, up over the Coast Range, along the escarpment, through a waterhole, etc. We've done it a few times now.
