no idea to that but walk the crossing first a mate just drowned his truck in a big hole there and he is running 35's and 5 inches of lift and his bonnet disappeared into the hole.

It looks like we may have to change our plans for next easter, so I'm thinking of heading down to Coffs for a few days to see the old fella. Thought of maybe dragging him up to Pebbly Beach for a night and doing some better fishing (than the "special" end of Diggers  ).

Any advice on gear to get there? I'm driving a bog stock Jackaroo with 31" tyres. I can get around on Bribie Island in Brisbane fine. Hoping that will be ok.

Cheers,

Garin

was there yesterday mate sand was a little soft but i think still firmer then i have heard bribie has been lately. just air down as per normal and take basic recovery gear. if crossing the creek to go to the camp grounds be sure to try it as close as you can to bottom of the tide and always walk the crossing first. other than that have fun and enjoy.

Bribie has been fun lately! I don't think I've ever seen as many cars get bogged there as on new years day (myself included).
All good fun though. Looking forward to it!

Cheers
