Crossing the Simpson Desert

Unread post by tkcappy » June 13th, 2014, 7:33 pm

Hi everyone,

My family and I (and trusty Hilux) recently completed a two year project, crossing the Simpson Desert. What an amazing trip, left Brisbane on the 29th of March, arriving back on the 24th of April.

We took in Innaminka, Cameron Corner, William Creek, Coober Pedy, Mt Dare, Simmo, Birdsville and many amazing places in between towns.

I have made a photo album of our travels and would like to share if you are interested, what an amazing country we live in, currently planning our next adventure.

thanks 4 looking

congratulations, nothing like a bit of planning to come off resulting in an awesome trip. The kids will appreciate your love for them, adventure, and Australia forever. Good luck with the next trip.
