Family trip goulburn to dargo

Unread post by bushy84 » January 19th, 2014, 12:09 pm

been meaning to post this since got back but been fairly busy.. Anyway got a few days off from chasing sheep around leading up to christmas so took the family away..

Had planed this trip for 2 months leading up to going using a few touring books i have.
Car was packed and ready to go so headed off from home around 7.30 saturday morning we headed to goulburn then out the braidwood road turning off at tarago and headed to bungendore. At bungendore we stopped at the bakery grabed some food and headed out to captains flat going through hoskintown. once we hit the 80 zone at captains flat we turned right drove up to the old gold mind. there are a few bits n pieces floating around to have a look at few boards that show you the old mine setup and old town.. funnt fact camptains flat is actually named after an old bull that used to graze along the banks of the river..
After a few pics we headed out on the jerangle rd towards bredbo. We turned of at peak view rd and headed over to numeralla. From numeralla we headed into cooma.
In cooma we did some shopping and headed down to jindabyne along the highway.
in jindabyne we grabed some lunch as it was 12 fueled up and this is where we would see the end of the black top again for awhile. anyway heres a few pics and ill post some more.
