Looks like an awesome trip mate, you certainly covered some ground. How'd the cruiser go?

Hey Woodsy
That was one epic trip & a half , how long did it take you & were you travelling mainly by yourself except when doing the deserts & Woodsy I wouldn't class it as bad weather as you just got to experience it different to most people so that would put you in a bit of an elite class seeing it in the wet.

Got a few more pics to come from Cape York and Fraser Island. I left home in Wagga in March and got home in September, however I work FIFO in the Pilbara and work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off and continued to work most of the time. The car never missed a beat, only damage was the ally tops on the ARB sidesteps snapped from corrugated roads and a few battle scars, dints and scratches from the Canning. oh an a "warranty" issue with water in the factory rear diff lock actuator.

Oh and yes most of it was by myself, only the desert trip, Hedland to Alice was with a group of mates and another group of mates for Cape York and Fraser. We did the Great Sandy Desert and Gibson Desert in June and it rained every day, most people wouldn't believe you if you said that. the deserts were amazing in the wet though. Just a shame I was solo in southern WA cos I wanted to do the Holland Track but was far too wet to be attempting it solo. I will have to get back to Arnhem Land and Kakadu another time, the monsoon the week before I was there meant most tracks and scenic things were closed and unfortunately I was on a bit of a tight schedule so couldn't hang around for a few weeks
