Basic welding skills - anyone got pointers or know courses?

What's protecting your 4WD, and how do you melt it together?

My mig is constantly jamming in the wire feed. Apparently it is the hand piece that is doing it but i'm not gonna spend money on a cheapo shitter aha.

The only adjustment it has is a switch for high and low ... Low makes a thin slow bead that doesnt stick to anything i've tried and high either works OK or blows holes in everything from 1.6 to 3.5mm. Thats when its not stopping every 10 seconds because it jams. It originally cost $300 about 4 years ago

I don't have the cash to buy a decent welder otherwise i would haha. Oh well, hopefully i can play around and build a few small things with the ARC. can't complain for a freebie!

Here is the MIG

$300 gets you the most basic gas/gasless, from bunnings, its the ozito brand, and its a solid welder! Also 3yr warrenty!
