Anyone tried Dunlop AT3G's yet?

Unread post by Flash6 » February 11th, 2018, 5:06 am

Have just bought these tyres... they appear new to the market and, as far as I can tell, are designed to replace the AT2 - even though they look more like the original AT1 than the AT2 were supposedly better than! Does anyone else have any experience with the AT3G? If no and anyhoo... I'll let you know how I get on with them. Their tread, to me, appears more open than their equivalent Hankook RT10 and the Falken AT3W even though they're still a 5 rib pattern. They might turn out to be a complete waste of money or a brilliant buy... but I won't know if I don't try them. It appears to me that unless you're going into thick slop a hybrid or mud terrain is overkill... so I'm hoping these'll be just right for weekend touring in the Flinders Ranges and the like...
