Looking at a new set of tyres for my 2005 SR5 Hilux and have been recommended the Hancook Dynapro A/T's in a size 31/10.5R15 to replace my current Cooper Discoverer A/T's in 255/70R15. I've checked the dimensions out and the bigger tyres fits within the 7% diameter increase limit etc and has a speed rating of R compared to factory of S so no issues there. Just wondering if anyone could see any major disadvantages in going with the slightly larger tyre?

Hi sjg, welcome to the Forum. Have you read the info in the Hilux Tech section? There's a whole thread in there devoted to this sort of question about tyres, wheels, & rims on Hilux's that could well have some worthwhile info for you.
