Wiring a CTEK D250SA

Unread post by Dicko_81 » April 13th, 2019, 8:42 am

Giday folks I need some advice if possible, I have bought a CTEK D250SA and a 120amp battery to put in the tub of my 2007 Hilux for a Cape Trip this year. I already have wiring (from the second battery under the bonnet) to give me power in the tub. My intention is to run the fridge from the 3rd battery.

Is it possible to connect the CTEK to this wiring (it will mean the alternator will charge starter - then the isolator switch to second with power going from that to the tub) or should I wire straight from the starter?

Thank in advance, have a great day
