Hdj79r clutch replacement - what else should I do?

hi all I am replacing my clutch as the thrust bearing has got really noisy in my 2003 land cruiser it has 350kms is there anything else I should do while I have the gear box out and how long will the replacement take roughly

There are definitely a few things to think about that may need addressing but you won't know until it is apart. I would have a good look at the flywheel for any abnormal wear or cracking (it may need machining) and also see if the rear main oil seal or gearbox input shaft seal are showing signs of leaking. It is generally not a real time consuming job just a couple of shafts and a heap of bolts, the worst thing is it is bloody heavy.
