Are ARB Locker Solenoids Serviceable??

Unread post by siringo » January 19th, 2016, 10:11 am

I've got some problems with my ARB lockers. The compressor seems to run off and on when they're engaged. The compressor is in the cabin and I can smell diff oil even when just driving on the road.

I looked at getting a new one but they're pretty expensive, so my question is, are the solenoids seviceable?

Also, if the solenoids are warm, does that indicate anything??? Should they be warm?? I'm not exactly sure what they do.

Thanks for any help.
