lifting d22 suspension?

Unread post by aussiehunter » October 12th, 2015, 5:50 pm

so ive been looking for a 4x4 to get when im 18. A GU with a TD42 is at the top of the list, but it costs a bit much for me, so im considering a navara D22. But i would want to put a 3 or 4 inch suspension lift on it so i can keep up with the patrols on the tracks ;). The problem is that i've heard it is difficult and expensive to do (the suspension lift that is), dropping the diff and few other things, but i don't know much about any of this. So it thought maybe i would ask on a forum and hopefully someone with some good experience with the navara could tell me what's involved. Any answers are appreciated, thanks guys.

ps. i know the best option for 4X4ing is the patrol, but i'm not exactly rich haha and i like the idea of having the ute.
