Unread post by xgrumpig » October 7th, 2015, 4:06 pm

in process of replacing my front springs in my ln106.
it orginally had 2" ome wich im in process of replacing
i currently have one side out and new springs in and attached to the rear shackle and located in the diff but its a long way back off matching up with the front hanger do i need to do both sides then move the diff forward while attached to the springs or take them out again and attached the springs to the rear shackle and front hanger and then try move the diff forward to line up with the locating holes?

LN106 2" lift toughdog springs - how do I fit them?

NVM, I may have read it wrong, I didn't notice fronts?
Note: Ive not done a Hilux.

EDIT:
Mount the eye end, mount the shackle, mount the diff. No weight on springs until mounted front and back.
If that doesnt work, mount shackle, then eye, again no weight. and might need a lever to line up the eye bolt. I would think it shouldnt be hugely difficult though. If it is, theres likely something wrong such as wrong spring.

Does the diff mount above or below the spring on a lux?
