What are landcruiser rear axle maximum load figures?

Unread post by whizzo » December 12th, 2013, 10:15 pm

I'm hopeing some one has their landcruiser manual with the axle load ratings in it or some other source that documents the maximum permissable rear axle loadings.

This is for my latest project

I'm building a trailer for my new work buggy.....well modifying an existing trailer.

I was originall intending building from scratch and looking at a 1.5 tonne trailer.....hilux springs would have been just the thing.

But I have picked up the trailer with a 2 tonne axle and thinking its a bit of a waste to limit its ATm to 1500Kg.

So leaf springs out of the rear of a landcruser....probably 70 series I recon would be just the ticket.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

cheers
