Hi there !

Hi all ,

My names Tyrone, 23 from Sydney and I've just got into the 4wd world and I love it.
I've bought myself an old HJ60 Landcruiser powered by the 2H and I love it too!
After all the bad reading on the 2H being a slug etc, I personally can't fault it - Pulls well on the flats and you just gotta nurse the old girl up hills; in saying that I towed a Navara up Mt Ousley at around 50kmh without pushing it too hard.
Love the old trucks and I definately am a fan of not having any fancy new electrics and having a vehicle that just works (if maintained).

I don't have big plans for the rig, I'm more interested in making her run sweet and keeping it reliable and capable. Hoping to do any work myself, so if there's any gurus out there who wouldn't mind passing some knowledge on to a younger bloke I'd love to get in touch and chat; I'm from the Hills district.

Welcome to the Forum Tyronem8! Good looking 60 you've got there, but I do hope you've kept copies of those pics on some other site besides that one!! If you go by the precedence they've already set, they might wait until you've got heaps stored with them then change their billing & charge you $$$ to get all your pics back!! That's the reason you see so many blacked out images here.... :irked: Anyhow, there are quite a few posters here from around your way, with any luck some will pop in eventually & who knows, next thing you might even be heading out on Club runs with them! :thumb:

Cheers, & enjoy! ;)
