nice GQ. did u do it yourself? or get a shop to do it? how do u find the tray space?

yer i did it my self had a mate help.its good to get a second opion on ya cuts.the tray is off a duel cab hilux just changed the mounts.its alloy so theres not much weight but im building a steel one for it so it should be better.

Cranky, that king cab with suicide doors is exactly what i would want. but with the dicky seats in there too. Rang creative conversions he said hi wouldn't do it again too much work and if he did do it he would charge double the regular cost of extra cab...

is this a pro job?

one of my mates father inlaws is a old school panel beater.. he put it all back together for me after i cut it up...

was the first one he has ever done .. but it came up pretty good

There is a bloke in MacKay who does cut downs on GQ's for $3,500 drive in, drive out, painted, upolstered & ready for a tray (tray not included.) I think it might be Engineered, check for yourself. He uses Navara back windows for a factory look.
I can't find his card but the MacKay 4WD Club will know who he is.

this is what I want to do to my GU. Just a quick mock up. From doing some measurements a 98ish Toyota Hilux Dual Cab Tub would fit and the lines etc would lie up

crankycruiser, that has made me want to ditch my hilux and buy a 80 series and cut it down. very nice cranky, how much did the cut down cost? rough figures i mean
97 hilux 2" body lift, uhf, custom tray, much more to come
