First ute, my dad gave it to me:)......................Back when I was 15-16, which is more than a few footy seasons ago

Genuine Holden FJ ute with factory canopy in pretty original nick ( apparently as rare as Rocking Horse Sh*t nowdays )

And I cut it up and made a Paddock Bomb out of it :o:cry::cry::cry::crazy:

If only I had known then what I know now :(

Cheers & Merry Christmas to all

Have had a few utes.1st was a early 70`s Datsun 1500 ute ,was a good light ute.2d was a 69 Toyota Crown ute.Was a tank of a ute.Weighed in a bit over 2 tonne empty:eek:And was only powered by a 2ltr motor.Had the fuel economy of a V8 and the power of a Victa mower.Only car I have seen with a three panel body as in a outer skin a middle panel then the inside panel.3rd was a 70 Toyota heavy stout. There was two models light and heavy.Light had a car like front end, with coils and the heavy had a truck style front end, with leaf spring,I beam axle and King pins.It had a Holden red motor in and went very well.Pity the brakes were useless as was the steering.Tram tracked all over the place and the brakes were a single line,so you had to aim left when you braked as it would pull sharply right as the front right wheel would brake first. Now I have a hybrid land rover ute.Which I will post a few pic`s of soon.

Hu Landcruiser. What else is there to own?Range Rover ute!
