my old man loves the rigs in the comp.
im always showing him stuff bout em.
but he said he'd never go to it because of the hooligan factor.
so hopefully the added security might help get my father there.

The pricing issue is understandable as a man with a family of 3 kids(16-12) it is very expensive & has priced us out attending as a family event, through no fault of TT.
The problem I can see is that the single man has the money with no restrictions or responsibilities can afford this and the alcohol. Ergo the problem- Instant ****** just add alciohol.
Unfortunately, it seems to be the same idiots out on the tracks that are ruining it for everyone.

Zeke in Chubby blowing both Longfield CV's on the first step on the first course in the first year (2001). (Chubby 2 wont be competing this year). From memory no one has beaten that record yet.
The strip show... and the unrestricted free-for-all circle work event on the saturday night. That was wicked.

Second year: Christies drowning their engine.

Pip flogging the arse out of his 40 on Rocky Horror flinging BOULDERS not rocks ('06).
Flopping on Frame Twister 15pts first track ('09) & easily had the 80+ marker & yet still beat more than half the field.
Gonads at our campsite (& most of the ABT Firetruck crew), p!*sing down rain ('07), river flowing through our camp with Gonads, Twisty & others just sitting in the mud absolutely rotten drunk & having a great time. Although I didn't like the morning after.
