The rear light housing I made out of ply and to give it a little added strength and just in case the ply shrunk on the joints I fibreglassed over the top before painting

This I then sanded and painted in a two pack paint

The rear wall with the lights finally in place, took a lot of sanding on the fibreglass as with the panel in place the fibreglass tended to sag down and the surface was not the best when dry. If I was to do this job again I would do it with the panel lying down so the resin would flatten out and not sag as it had when standing up.

wow - this is looking good. Do you think the cost/effort is worth restoring or would it have been cheaper to sell and upgrade?
