Pull out kitchen

Unread post by bmell » June 10th, 2015, 9:23 pm

Just bought our first camper trailer and starting to fit it out.

First job is to build a pull out kitchen. Most of the way through it and this is where I am at the moment.

Left to right.
Under stove will be storage and a pull out shelf holding a tub for a sink
then 3 smaller drawers for cutlery and utensils etc
the 2 med drawers and then 1 large drawer.

The top part will house the stove

Still to go (other than making the drawers)
Laminex for the top work surface
paint / seal
manual pump tap plumbed to a jerry underneath
teflon sliders on the bottom.

Anyone else have any ohter inclusions I should think about?????

Very nice...looking to build my own...I think you have pretty much covered it...I have 2 small 1.25kg gas bottles for my twin burners. I will be making space to store them in the camper kitchen. Some people like to have room for a sink of sorts. A plastic tub that slots into the top but can be housed away under the stove when prepping food.

I like things to be simple. I like what I see here.
Cheers
Chris.

Thanks mate.

Yeah I plan on a simple tub to use as a sink, just haven't made it to putting it in yet.It will be on a sliding shelf that will come out under the stove and tap.

I'll be using a 9kg gas bottle, but will be running the hose through holes in the kitchen to underneath where the bottle will be.
