Nice images mate. Must of just missed you up there. Looks like you had a good trip. We were going to do the Cred track but heard rumors of people having to be air lifted out of there a week prior to when we were going to do it. They air lifted cars and all im pretty sure.

haha yep i read that one. One of the guys on OuterLimits was the one who tried to rescue the 4 vehicles. it's an awesome read. I can't remember his name but if you're a member of theh forum have a look under their members section. Named something along the line of CREB track rescue....

yeah he's on 4x4 play north queensland too. epic story. what a legend, and the track was open but closing soon at that time and looks heaps wetter than when you did it. epic top end trip but looks like lots a fun

Great pics and good to see you had a good time. I'd like to make one comment tho. Please everybody remove the goddamn logs from the track like in the pics of Palm Creek. Several times every year I remove those vehicle breaking pieces of crap and with a few people doing 10 minutes work with shovels we make the track quite passable. I missed one this year didn't see it, and it broke a tie-rod on one of the cars. PLEASE NO LOGS IN MUD EVER!!!

Ha ha ! Petrolfix that link was one of the best reads I've had ! that bloke and his dad are legends for helping like they did, !
what a crazy track in the wet ! this report and others it prob why my mate has backed out of doing the cape trip with me next year 2014, now i wonder if he'll ever even use the 4wd function in his patrol ! , :( :drink: for the link :thumb:
