Hey ODA1 & GV88,

I wouldn't mind going on a bush trip, not too keen on the beach until I get some rust protection.

Cheers

Hi Jimzuk and Oda1,

I'm definitely heading out for a half day drive through Mt Mee on Sat July 11. You're welcome to tag along. We will be meeting at Dayboro bakery at 11am. We will be having an early BBQ lunch at the gantry before going offroading. I've only got a stock 08 GV and won't be doing any hard tracks. I've decided not to make this a forum trip as it would attract too many cars.

Let me know if you're keen on attending.

Cheers.

An accessory I'd like to see, is a replacement for the transfer case cross-member.
It hangs way too low.

I can't understand why Suzuki didn't make a cross-member that follows the profile of the floor pan. There appears to be plenty of room to raise the cross-member out of the way, and still support the transfer case.

Just give it a mild lift and it should be out of the way. You need to realise that a GV is a soft roader for basic trip to the beach and not a rock hopper.
