Buckled rims repair/ replacement?

Unread post by Mark_rikki » August 29th, 2010, 7:43 pm

I was wondering what brands of wheels will fit a 2000 V6 Grand Vitara.
I have taken my car to the mechanic and apparently i have two buckled rims. are these repairable? They are the alloys that come with the limited edition V6.

Regards Mark

any decent tyre/wheel retailer will give you alot of options for replacements. buckled rims are repairable depending on severity BUT like a buckled car... theyre never the same once repaired imho

Alloy rims don't ever repair well, and it could cost you more than it would to get a couple of new rims!!

But check with your nearest alloy rim specialist, not necessarily just a retail outlet; a few that come to mind: Mullins; Advanced Alloys; AMG.....
