What are the Biggest tyres that will fit my GV?

Unread post by jaimit1995 » September 9th, 2014, 9:49 pm

Hey guys,

I've recently acquired a 2002 GV and after three day trips, I've realised I'm the one who is limiting us to certain tracks due to my limited ground clearance..
So I was wondering what are the biggest tyres I can put on without lifting the car? And how much lift will it give me?

I know there's an Ironman suspension lift, but I just don't think 35mm is going to give me enough clearance :/

ANY HELP OR ADVICE would be amazing!

Cheers

Suzi GV - biggest possible tyres??

G'day,

Does anyone know the biggest tyres that will fit onto a SUZUKI GRAND VITARA 2002 with no lift?
Do 245/70/16 in HT tyres fit with no rubbing?
HT as my current HT tyres are amazing, haven't had any issues with tough tracks during the medium wet/dry periods! Been letting some air out and stuff for more grip and i'm keeping up with GQ's with 33 muddies! In saying that, also curious what the biggest AT's are that will fit with no rubbing??

Most vehicles will only fit 25 - 50mm bigger tyres without rubbing. Some won't even do that. This gives you 12.5 - 25mm more clearance - not that much.

Keep the law in mind too - how much bigger can you go before it's illegal?
