patrol's tank is bigger... I get around 250ks on my tj with a 50L tank in the city, at least double on the highway - 3"lift, 33s.

Rust isnt particularly a problem, except there can be moisture build up around the floor panels. Parts are really cheap if you get them shipped from America.

Also land rovers..... expensive parts, relatively unreliable, bad resale. Buy a TJ!!!

my missus gets 450-500ish from her TJ. Stock height on 31"s. But she has a 70L tank... so that's like 14L/100km...

All export TJs have a 74l tank, as I understand. My TJ with 3 speed auto, 4.1:1 gears, 4"lift and 33s generally got around 20l / 100km.

It did have an empty cat & suspect O2 sensors........... ;)

i average 15 litres per hundred with a mix of town and highway driving. not trying to save fuel either

i have managed 12 litres per hundred on a highway trip and thats with a small exhaust leak and a half fucked clutch on the engine fan.

interestingly enough i get the best economy with the soft top up, half windows in and the rear and back windows removed
