I'm just using a cheapie, scored it for 500 new and installed it myself.
I might look at replacing the steel cable with rope.

this is the one here, I think they are about 699 in stores atm.

G'day all,

Some inspirational posts on this forum and I look forward to using the knowledge gained to assist in building up my new truck!

This is my brand new LSX 6sp auto in Oceanic Blue with just on 25klms on the clock. A very nice Christmas present!! (sorry about the rubbish quality pic)

Loving it so far!! Plenty of bits to add yet...at this stage it just has kids booster seats added! (plus the custom fit rear neoprene seat covers for any accidental 'spills'.. and Colorado carpet mat set).

I'm keen to add alloy nudge bar, spotties, tub liner, tonneau, towbar, suspension, etc, etc

Cheers

Thanks
Hey Rado12, have not been on here for a while, the wheels are 20"x9" +12 offset, tyres are 285/50/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's, they just touch the front body mounts near full lock, nothing major though, a good size for an all round setup, smooth as on the road & plenty capable for light off road & beach work

ended up going for the tough dog 40mm lift with foam cell shocks.
after fitting a steel bar, 9500lb winch with steel cable, stainless steel bash plates and a 2nd battery under the bonnet the front factory suspension dropped really bad.

if anyone with the c7 does go tough dog you will see they only list the front springs "TDC270" but you can put the "TDC270H" in and they fit just fine and hold more weight.
on the utes they use these springs for steel bar and winch, yet for the c7 they don't list them.

sits much better than the last pictures I posted

Been lurking for a while but thought it about time I showed my truck. 2012 LTZ with ARB Bar work and Canopy, dual batteries, IPF HIDs, full dig options in dash sat nav and Tough Dog Lift. Very happy with the vehicle. My mates have GU Patrol 4.2's with 3 inch lifts and the Colorado went up a rutted out Dingo Hill Track in Victoria's High Country with ease whereas the GU's really struggled and took several attempts.

G'day this is my 2011 Rc Colorado its an auto.
265/75 R16 BF Goodrich KO2 all terrains.
Old photo but now has a 31" stedi light bar mounted on the bull bar
dominator winch
soon to have a 3 inch exhaust (cant decide what brand to get, thinking an xforce for $600 would go alright)
also planning to do a 2 inch lift after i get a good tune.
