Initial problem, vehicle vibrated then shut down to idle for a few seconds, then resumed normal operation, intermittently could take a week or months between.
Vehicle was taken to dealer for 7 weeks head removed valve and springs changed(we Think) no more of this problem.
2016 exhaust manifold gasket leaked, replaced gasket on 2 occasions, now leaking again 2017. despite new part no. studs fitted.2017, 3 A/C condensers replaced all leaking at joint of tubes to the vertical, fan clutch replaced.
Hose to inter cooler blew off,a month later both turbo hoses split and blew off turbo, new ones fitted, no van on, suburban operation.
Oil cooler leaking oil,had new seal kit fitted,at the same time found idler pulley pivot nearly seized, apparently not servicable.
Love the vehicle performance,we pull a 21ft caravan when holidaying,it is just the repetitive ongoing failures which are upsetting, apart from the continual cost.
a dealer told us to expect an alternator failure anytime also, great news!
Had a chip fitted a couple of years ago ,took it off when we fitted a pedal box to counter turbo delay, well worth fitting without interfering with fuel pressures etc.
Mileage so far from new 97000ks.
Holden were very good during warranty period up to 2016 gasket replacement,on our own after that.
