16x8 zero offset 265/75 r16 scrub the mudflaps with a 2 inch lift, little bit of creative trimming and its not an issue anymore

Hi just fitted some 265/65/17 a/t falken wildpeak on dynamic steel rims and seem to fit fine with no rubbing as there is plenty of room in the wheel well. A Bit more of an aggressive look for the collie rather than running the standard rims.

they just scrubbed the front mudflap at full lock, there was like a 1cm lip on the mudflap I cut off and they don't hit at all now.

being 75's they put my speedo out by 3kmh so 97 is really 100 until I can get to the dealer and have them correct it lol

they are pretty quiet on the road too :)

Any pics Pirate78? I like the look of the Wildpeaks as an all terrain tyre, Was thinking about getting a set on 20" rims ( 285 / 50 / 20 ) to do mostly on road stuff & keep my 16" Goodyear Wranglers for off road

I've managed to score a very cheap set of near new 285/70/17 muddies I intend to use as a second set for off road trips only. Question is what offset steel rims would fit? The tyres work out to be 32.7 inch. I've already got a 50mm lift front and rear. I see people are running 33's with minor mods to mudflaps etc?

Thanks in advance guys

Hi All
Just wondering if WILL 20x9 rims and 285/50/20 tyres fit RG with 2in lift and I think the rims are +12 offset.

15" rims on an RC Colorado?

Unread post by robbie_wog » December 26th, 2015, 5:54 pm

Who's managed to fit 15" rims on their RC Colly?

I want to fit a set with an offset around +15 so I can fit 32x11.5s with 2" lift

Anyone got some experience?

Help only, no 16" bandits please ;)

csa raptors on bfg ko2

Unread post by claycolly » January 13th, 2016, 5:18 pm

I'm looking to upgrade my 2014 rg colorado wheels to 17x8 csa raptors P25 on 265/70/17 bfg ko2s on standard height.

Wondering if anyone has a similar setup. Will that size tyre fit without scrubbing?
Also does anyone have a set of csa raptors on their Rg? How have they been?

Won't fit claycolly. I have a 2 inch lift with the same size tyres and more offset and they still rub occasionally.

Ok thanks riagan. Do you think if I went with 16" id be fine? Had a think today and might go with 265/70/16 instead of the 17". Cheaper and also won't have to worry about gear ratio with mine being an LX.

A 265/70/17 tyre will fit just fine with stock suspension & +25 offset rims claycolly
That size is exactly the same as a 265/75/16 which is well known to be the largest you can actually fit on a totally stock RG>

(16" shown in orange & 17" size shown in the green section)

http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?wi ... 25#content

This is my RG when it was literally one day old, totally stock with no lift at all shown with 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler "kevlar" tyres on 16x8 +20 offset rims

The front tyres just touched the mudflaps near full lock but these are a large chunky deep tread tyre for the sizing

Just thought I'd add to this quickly. I have an RC dual cab, 2" lifted springs in the rear and the front torsion bars wound up to suit. I have 16x7 sunnies with +22 offset. I tried running 265/75 but they scrubbed on lock. I cut out the insides of the front guards to make room, it helped but still scrubbed. I tried a few more things but gave up and ended up going for 265/70 BFG AT. And am happier with the performance and no scrubbing. I checked my speedo today and when it said exactly 100km/h my gps said I was doing 98km/h.
