Re: Ranger show & shine

Finally got around to getting a pic (even though its not the best and its just in the garage)
Got a ARB Sahara bar fitted with a Tmax 10,000lb winch and a set of Narva 175s spotties. Havent had a chance to test it all out yet but hopefully in a week or so. Goin to wind up the torsion bars just to level it back out after the dropped with the bar and winch.

Re: Ranger show & shine

Took the camper out to Kokerbin Rock last weekend and as it was only me and the young bloke I took the Ranger.

Sat a little low in the back with the stock springs but it towed it heaps better then I thought it would and used just over 15l per 100 k's which is heaps better then the bloody Patrol

Nice looking camper there Thrasher.
We towed a camprite to Tassie and back and did over 12000ks and averaged 15L/100. If you are interested in a set of airbags for the Ranger I've got a set that I used to have in my ute sitting on the shelf that you can have for $400.

I am constantly surprised by the economy of these modern diesels.

Thanks for the offer of the airbags but I haven't heard a lot of good things about them in the leaf spring utes and personally know 2 blokes that have used them and had their chassis crack :(

Re: Ranger show & shine

G'day here's a pic of me ute. I'am happy with how it preforms , towing a boat just under 2t longest tow so far bris to turkey beach no worries, Beach fishing no worries, done a bit of 4x4ing nothing to full on & it has handled that.Have installed 20" baja design light bar since pic, quite happy with the performance of it to.
Cheers

Re: Ranger show & shine

How ironic. They should park a kilometre away and the extra walk might help them along a bit...

Just saying.
