i know it isn't a 4wd, but i thought id post it anyway to see what ya rekon. mainly used as a work ute (chippy), but awesome for towing the boat and the car trailer. optioned with buckets and ABS, K&N filter, exhaust, narva +50 globes, JVC 6" 210W speakers, factory XLT tweeters and CSA stampede rims. nearly 30k on the clock and running beatifully. no warranty issues yet. longest trip done so far was from bathurst to broken hill & return. come home from mildura to cowra on 1 tank, about 780km and got 7.1L/100.

Hey All,

Here is a few photos of my Ranger.

The only modification I have done is fit a K&N Airfilter more out of commonsense than anything else =P

Plans I have plenty!

Bullbar is on the cards with driving lights, as is a snorkel, suspension, tyres down the track.

First up though I am planning on making some side steps/sliders for it. I am also thinking about making some rear drawers to stop stuff sliding around everywhere when you go fishing. Thinking about making provision for a 20L bucket, 20L Water container, 2x 20L Diesel containers etc. Need to do a few sketches of what I think I will need/want and work out how to fit it all in.

Some great looking utes out there :thumb:

Our Custominzed Ranger

Unread post by tas ranger » August 10th, 2009, 4:09 am

We purchased our Ranger in August 08. we have added a 2" OME suspension upgrade with the new Sports Shocks, Mickey T's 265/75x16 'special wheeler' 4 Rib Baja ATZ on Allied 16x8 wasp alloy rims, ARB deluxe bullbar with IPF 800 driving lights & TJM Ox 9500lb winch, TJM canopy with Foxwing awning, TJM rb4 rear bar, Piranaha 180s dual battery system with deep cycle aux. battery, Outback roof console with Uniden uh15 UHF radio & RFI 5bd antenna.
We are very happy with our Ranger with it's ability to handle the rough tracks and with it's load capicity for all of our camping gear.
