BT50 with a harsh shifting auto - does yours?

Unread post by Rooster » April 2nd, 2019, 8:15 pm

My 2007 has only done 95,000 kms. Bought it at 40,000 kms. Seems ever since I bought it, the transmission is harsh on the upshift. I always put it down to the fact that the tray is always empty with no weight in it. No problems when I tow our pop top caravan. There is no slipping and seems to shift correctly up and down. No leaks from underneath so should not be low on fluid. Got to a point where it's annoying me. Has anyone had similar problems ---- is this a BT50 thing ?
Asked an auto transmission service centre and they recommended a power flush and add some aftermarket product called Lube Guard to help with smoother shifting.
Any comments or suggestions please.
