Update on mine:

Image

Finally got me some NT plates, new spotties and did my diff drop.
Still no snorkel on yet....rain hasnt started up here, so been putting if off for a bit.

Going to start working on a steering damper in the new few weeks...too many long dusty roads and hours of steering shudder have finally started to wear down my steering box. That and a whole heap of wheeling.

Hey fella,
You're a machine!!!
Love all your custom mods, did you get any photos of your diff drop? Did you space the lower ball joints as well as the uppers?

Keep up the great work!

Only used spacers on the uppers...dont think you really need them on the lowers.

Will get some photos of the diff drop once my new steering box arrives. The one in it finally threw in the towel after my last trip out to hidden valley.

Been almost a month now with no 4x4 due to interstate wreckers sending me the wrong box 3 times now.
- on a side note, I will be selling 3x power steering boxes to suit 02 mazda bravo's cheap...all in great condition.

Oh, and also in the process of fabbing up a custom bracket for a steering damper. Should stop a bit of that shudder on those long corrugated roads. If anyone is interested, I could probably put together a small write up and also the part number for the correct size damper....since you cant buy one off shelf for the bravo as far as I am aware.

This is my rig. Running 31's with OME suspenion and blift.
RTI 440 front and 460 back...not too bad, but wouldnt mind a little more from the back, but it keeps me busy.

In the process of putting together a snorkle and also doing a bit of front end work. Always keep it maintained, and have a log book of services, upgrade and repairs that goes on for ages. 1995 model, b2600i :D

Lokka up front would be a nice addition to the fourby...but im happy with it, and it gets me to where i want to go most weekend.

hey mate im pretty sure you would no my bro stuey who used to live in darwin i think he did your extended shakles on the back

31" Bighorns and winch

Unread post by 101bravo » May 16th, 2010, 4:47 pm

Gents, got myself a spare set of rims and some fresh Bighorns for play dates only! Had some fun around the yard today with the missus steering so I could check clearance. I grabbed and Aldi winch this week too, fun times ahead.

This is mine stock as.
In the not to distant future Im getting a 2 1/2 inch exhaust and a custom 3 inch snorkel. Also a custom roof rack mounted from the tie downs alongside the canopy. Then a drawer system in the back to hold a couple of batteries and a fridge, and last but not least more spotlights as I do a fair bit of night driving on country roads.

Cheers

Steve
