Engine Mounts - replacement

Unread post by pedropajero96 » June 6th, 2017, 10:13 am

Both my engine mount rubbers are split (and probably have been for some time)
Does anyone know the best way to replace them without having to dismantle too much
Cheers

I haven't done it on a D-max, but have on a Nissan:

Loosen off the bolts.
I got a hydraulic jack and sat it on a brick.

Stuck a block of wood under the sump and jacked the motor up so it leant to one side enough to get the old mount out and the new one in.
Repeat for the other side.
Once its all sitting where it should, only then tighten up the bolts.

It was the easiest way I could come up with, all I had to remove was the sump guard.

Return to “DMax”
