Rocky Flares

Unread post by Aussieliving » February 10th, 2015, 8:34 pm

Hey guys. Recently started looking for some new flares for my new rocky (olds ones are busted to ugly) and I came across this>> http://www.otosia.com/mobil-dijual/daih ... html?img=4

Was wondering If any of you blokes know where to get these or know of something similiar I may be able to make happen.
Personally I think they look badass. But the Vehicle in question looks highly customised, so I'm not holding my breath.

With offset rims and hilux diffs, the wheel track on MY rocky, sticks out considerably, so I'm happy to see any solutions.

Cheers

The closest thing to those I know of is the Bushwacker flares made for Jeep Wranglers, have a look at this link: http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/suzuki/s ... lares.html However they aren't cheap and are easily damaged when offroad as if they get hit by branches etc they will crack or get ripped off. If you need something more durable I would suggest moulded rubber flares as they will bend and flex if they get hit, link to those here:http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/suzuki/s ... -foot.html

Cheers bud. I'm already planning on fabbing up some side rails and sliders anyway, so damage isn't of too much concern (at the moment) I suppose.

I may as well ask in this thread if anyone knows the legalities to side rails. Like how far from the body they can sit out etc.
