What offset is the standard F78 rims?

Unread post by DROCKY » June 25th, 2014, 8:44 pm

Hi there,

I cannot find any information on the offset of the standard 15x7 rims. Does anyone know what the offset is for standard rims?

Why? I am thinking of buying some black Procomp Rock Crawlers in 15x7 with offset -6mm and chucking on BFG KM2 31x10.5x15 on it.

Will this combo go wider than the wheel arches?

Rocky will be lifted 2" with tough dog suspension.

mine are around -22 offset and don't stick out past the guards running 30 ' all terrains or 31' bfg's. There is a way of measuring offset but can't remember exactly the formula but if you your search in the forum it is pretty simple to find out how.
also should say im running ford f100 sunraysia rims

Good. nice to see another f78 :)

Thanks kalla. Seems I should be ok with these rims then. Might get Maxxis Bighorns instead of BFG KM2's.

In the meantime, getting her lifted, attaching snorkel then putting on new rims and tyres. After this, I'll be finding a custom bulbar place to create a bulbar with winch cradle and putting on a capable winch.

Sounds like awesome plans. The maxxis are good tires, a bit louder on the road but just as good in the tough stuff where it counts
