F78 Parts and Suppliers List

Unread post by Yamba24 » March 8th, 2014, 11:00 pm

G'Day team. Thought I would start a thread to list the part and supplier info for the F78. They are a pretty rare beast, and it can often be pretty hard to get parts for them! Feel free to add anything you reckon might help someone else.

BRAKES.
Brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders came from milneroffroad.com. $98.24 shipped via DHL
Rear brake shoes: Bendix N1678 from Repco. $40 odd. They are off a Toyota Hiace, and also some Hyundai.
OTHER.
All belts at SuperCheap. Got the wrong size twice. The book was wrong. In the end, I used a piece of string to measure.
Paint: I got a couple of pressure packs made up to match my colour exactly. The guy had trouble finding the code, but it is there!
Suspension: Tough Dog do a full kit for the Rocky for about $1,200. Bloodred.co.uk also have a lot of suspension gear.
Regulator: Just took the old one into Repco. They had what I needed in stock.
There is a mob in Indonesia that do a heap of stuff for the Rocky as well. Have not used em, but they seem OK.

There is a guy in the Philippines that does snorkels for them. I have only heard good things

Thats all for now.

http://www.suspensionstuff.com.au do Dobinson and King Springs coils and shocks for the F78. I have ordered some Dobinsons 2" lifted springs for $220 delivered. Bloody good price. I checked around, and the Dobinsons seemed to be the best for me at the time. Both sets are the same price.

Again, an amazing range of parts from http://www.milneroffroad.com
