Where to find Rocky parts in Adelaide?

Unread post by EnFlaMEd » January 10th, 2012, 9:46 pm

Hey Guys

I need a few things for my F75 but I am finding impossible to find even a single Rocky in a wrecking yard anywhere. Does anyone know of anywhere that might have some?

Cheers

What are you chasing?
There are a few Daihatsu wreckers around but most dont have complete cars. They ust strip off whats valuable and sell the rest as scrap metal

Mainly a complete steering column and front left stub axel assembly. Also trying to track down a factory intercooler motor to strip the manifold and cooler etc off.

Thanks for the link Doctor Ill check it out.

I managed to find most of the parts I need on a Rocky at U-Pull-It, Gillman. However I am now chasing a fully manual transfer box. The non vacuum operated one. So if anyone has any ideas where I can get one please let me know. Having absolutely no luck finding anything here at the moment. I also need a radiator shroud and a new engine fan!

I am considering swapping the standard radiator setup over to a spare supra one that I have here with a big 16" Thermofan. Anyone had much luck running different radiator setups?

Hey EnFlaMEd no problems..
If you are desperate for bits & not strapped for $$$ these guys in the UK have some bits for different models in stock.

Also there are clutch fans on ebay..

Unfortunately exjap don't have anything however City Dismantlers do have the fan and shroud. However they want $60 for the shroud which is ok but they also want $95 just for the fan, not including the hub!

Also those ebay listings are for the the hub only and not the fan which I need unfortunately. Might just go grab the fan off something else at U-pull-it, I already got a jackaroo fan to bolt up but its too big but no doubt there will be something similar if not the same to the rocky one.

Failing that I think Ill just mod in the supra radiator seeing as I already have it plus some spare thermo fans laying around.

Cheers for the links anyway mate.
