fellas, here's a heads up on some road closures tomorrow morning. might need to plan alternative routes to get out of suburbia:

2010 HBF Freeway Bike Hike
Sunday, 21 March

The Annual Freeway Bike Hike is here again. The following road closures will be in place:
  • Kwinana Freeway southbound - will be CLOSED from Mitchell Freeway to Thomas Road from 4.00 am to 9.30 am.
  • Mitchell Freeway southbound - will be CLOSED from Hodges Drive to Perth from 4.00 am to 12 noon.
  • Graham Farmer Freeway eastbound (including the Northbridge Tunnel eastbound) will be CLOSED from Mitchell Freeway to Great Eastern Highway from 4.00 am to 10.00 am.
The following road closures will also be in place in the City of Joondalup from 4.00 am to 2.00pm:
  • Hodges Drive eastbound - will be CLOSED from Mitchell Freeway;
  • Joondalup Drive & Grand Boulevard intersection - will be CLOSED;
  • Grand Boulevard - will be CLOSED from the intersection of Joondalup Drive to Shenton Avenue.
All road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly and seek alternative routes. Further details about the event are available at www.freewaybikehike.com.au.
If it ain't broke, you can still fix it.
