Winch Comparison

Has 4WD Monthly done a comparison between different winches? It seems most people use Warn, are they that much better? Do winches have to prove their pulling power, or does the sales department decide like with snatch straps?

There is a comparo in the current issue of 4x4 Australia.

Word of warning, it could be biased, there was a full page advert about 4 pages b4 the comparo for a winch that turned out to be the winner.
I did see only 1 other advert for a winch in the whole mag & that was for a Warn & was quite ealy in the mag.
