How to clean dusty aircon vents PJ ranger

Unread post by HydRanger67 » October 20th, 2017, 11:31 am

Hey There,

I have done a search on the PJ forum to no avail. What is the preferred way to clean the air conditioner vents and fan. I do a lot of gravel and red dirt driving and the front vents hardy work now.

Cheers

 G'day
Shame you haven't had a reply
havent had the need to do this on the ranger yet but had to do it on my old Toyota 2 wheel drive when I first brought it as it was pretty blocked. Basically removed the glove box , just a few screws really. This gave me access to the air box and removed the cover and replace the pollen filter. Can't remember how much it cost but it wasn't cheap so I made it part of my yearly maintenance to blow it out. Never had to replace it till I sold it 12 years later.
