Bugger , I am in Adelaide and in desperate need of an engine , looks like an overhaul next week ...

One thing i would like to know is how and where did you mount the second alternator ?
I have an 85 ah unit i was thinking about installing as the stock one is pretty gutless as you know .

thanks for the reply

1 alt was mounted above the other on passenger side of the motor. The standard moutn of the bottom one hsd been modified for the second. As mine was bought as an ex ambo, it had already been done.

Not interested in getting my motor ?

I will do some phoneing on prices tommorrow for freight but it shouldn't be too exy on toll or someone like that, let ya know.
The Ks are legit and the head was done because of a couple burnt valves when I got it. The motor runs really well and has been well maintained and . It is complete - clutch (not that old and with plenty of meat), booth alts I think are 80 ah but not 100% sure, power steer pumps good, as is the starter. The front main seal was replaced when the head was done. Rear main needs replacing ( as wet when clutch etc was removed). Has always had genuine toyota coolant run in it.

Price a rebuild, let me know and we'll probably be able to work out a fair price.

my ph no is 07 5445 1634 or mbl 0412 299 968.
cheers.

The 3F came out of my 1988 ambulance which I believe was constructed from exstending the chassis of a troopie but not 100 % pos of that. Some have told me it may have been a straight cab/chassis. Will have a look at the compliance plate tomorrow and post it.

Iknow where there"s a 4 speed it'd bolt to if interested
