toyota HZJ79 turbo ute

just wondering if anyone has experience with modding 79series turbo utes? i'm wanting 4" lift from the coil/leaf set up and was thinking spring over on the rear and 4" coils up front. any thoughts/problems etc with this???

i want to run OME LTR shocks all round, 35" BFG mudders, steel bullbar + winch, custom steel tray.

Why so much lift you'll get 35's under with a 2"

i didn't realise that 35's would clear with only a 2" lift. my mate has an 80 series with 4" and he can get 35's under it so i just assumed that i'd need a similar sized lift to fit 35's. but if 2" will do then i guess its a straight forward mod ;D

yeh, but with a 4" lift u can fit bigger than 35's ;D

::) Hi mate I've got a 79 with a 2" body lift with 35 " claws had to get the front gards cut. Looking at putting 100 series diff under & a cruiser crawler box.

hey mate yeah ive sceen 2 i think here in hobart and look sweet both with about a 4inch lift and running 35s and yeah they look the schitt but yeah sorry i have no info to help ya sorry cobba
