100 V8 auto issues?

I believe there is some hushy hush warranty issues being looked at by Toyota at the moment with the downshifting on the V8 5 sp auto.......

Hope they get that sorted....they are a nice thing on the road.

I got to test drive one of these at last years 4wd show @ Karion for about 30 minutes (on a prety tame track).
I liked the power when needed, but I found the IFS was very limiting.

Unfortunately they did not let me loose on the open road, so I didn't get to test it fully.

As for the issue with the auto, I have not heard anything. We have a club meeting tonight & I think one of our members has one, so I will ask him.
