View Full Version : My New exhaust "Project Paj"

Hey
i recentley found out that my headers(exhaust manifold) was cracked so ive just scraped some money together and went all out and got a brand new 2" exhaust (sounds great) and its much smoother. The stock exhaust hangs down in the middle of the car for no reason (lose about 100mm of clearence)so the new one is straight YAY.

after i got it i went with a mate to a quarry after it rained and played in the mud. my mate on the right just got his car.

Here are some pic of the old and one exhaust.(you can see how the air injection was blocked at the top of the second pic with a broom handle.

PS the white paint on the old one helped me to see how bad it was cracked. ;D

im also looking for a place that i can get a snokel made because TJM and ARB dont make them for my car. because you can see it took in some water.

Next week when i get paid a uniden UH088 radio is going in along with a bigish gme antenna.

What vintage Paj? What does it look like from outside- photo? Done anything lese to it?

the things i have done/got for my car:
-Hella spotlights
-New tyres
-1.5k service
-rubber flares
-2' exhaust
-getting UHF radio on thurs day(ill post some pics up when i get it) ;D

other than that i havent had the money to do any more, because im studiny engineering at uni.

about a week ago i got a uniden uh o88 uhf radio($290) and GME antenna($160) from skycomm in nerang and installed it my self. it works great and the range is pretty good.

ill post up some pics of the radio and before and after pics tonite.

next week when my tax comes back im getting roof racks and getting a hi lift jack.

ps. what price do you think would be resonable for 5 steel split rims and tyres bout 15% rubber
