Hey, That is one very nice ride. I don't normally like Nissans but in your case I have to make an exception. ;D
I also like your shower mount, particularly the rail around the top for the shower curtain. Makes setting up a shower very quick and easy. ;)

well finished my new aux battery tray, took the battery out from the engine bay and fitted it under the tray, took me about 6hrs to fit and reroute all the wires, looks good and neat now...................... some pics

thanx Ray, the controller is very simular to the redarc, i have run the 32l and the 40l engel for 2 days on this battery before it cut the engels out, im raped in that battery, only downfall is it takes ages to recharge

1: the ute is getting a "bit old" not that its that old but its getting on to 3yrs now

2: i get bored with my cars, i dont think i have keeped one any longer than 3-4yrs

3: i "heard " on the grape vine nissan is comming out with a 4.7 OHC DITD, 180kw, how true this is i dont no, but if it is, im getting myself one ;D

Yeah but I want a ute and if it comes factory with that amount of power at least the car can handle it imagine how easy it will to be to get another 20-30 kw out of it. I dunno with a intercooler and a 3inch exhaust on my ute it would probably get close to that.

being a high maintenance battery, i cant take the top caps off to check the level of the water/acid ??? something so simple but yet did'nt cross my mind.....now once a month i'll have to take the battery out for a simple check, that battery has to weigh at least 25kg :-\

yeh thats right Gojeep, im going to scrap that alloy tank and make a new one out of SS, same liters,i think it poped the baffels inside me thinks and streached the bottom way to much to fix

nah, its not a silly Q, gunshot is a creek crossing on the way up the cape/tip,in that crossing there is 4 ways to get throu,the one in the pic would be the 2nd hardest, IMHO two of them look to be manmade but i could be wrong, there is also a bypass road that takes you about 20min to get to the bottom of gunshot and back on the main track again(OTT)

Thanks Frank,no i havent put the springs on yet (still in the shed)all i am waiting for is the 3rds arms and rear shocks, $$$$ is putting that on hold..(doing a bit of work to the house :-\) i have spoke to a nissan dealer on Thursday about the new nissan/ motor and he new nothing of it(as all ways)as for all the gear on the ute 95% i will be keeping and putting it in the new ute includeing the tray

Oh ok. Well that will be gr8 when u transfer all ya stuff over. Not an easy job as i been thru that with the mav & GQ but it did get done. As for the Nissan Dealer, you prob should have said that u heard that Toyota was ready to publicise a 4.8 TD with all the electronics. That prob would have convinced him to say sumfin if he saw u lookin around ;D ;D ;D. But really, ya truck is going gr8 and cant wait gor the big lift. You wont be upset.
