Sorry if I'm interupting something but I'd just like to ask if you had much trouble fitting the snorkel?? Wondering if its worth the cost saving in fitting it yourself. Does the snorkel have a little cut out for the radio aerial or did you have to heat the plastic up to make room for it?

yeah it pretty easy to do should only take bout an hour and a half yeah it already has a cut out for the aerial just wen u do it make sure u have a tube of silicon or 2 handy

Dont use silicon as many are acid based and will eat into the paint work! Should use urethane like body shops do. You can place tape on either side of what your are filling ( between the snorkel and the body ) run the urethane in between and smooth off with your finger dipped in turps. Then pull the tape free before it drys and you will have nice clean edge from it.

yeah mines a safari i just used the silicon to seal up the joins properly
