Just bought a GU TD-6 and want to put a 4" lift and was thinking of using Wizzards kit. Seems pretty comprehensive. Any one had experience with them???

excellent bit of gear, i've had a 7" kit for about 5 years now, done weekend hard trips, big trips [cape york, simpson, etc] and competitions.

a lot of guys in Vic. don't seem to know what they're talking about but the guy from Wizzard seems to be on the ball. So they're panhard rods are pretty stong??

way stronger than standard.
the adjustment is on one end and not in the middle like some other brands.
he is also keeping tabs on his gear and makes improvements if theres any hint of trouble or if he can make it work better.
i've been destruction testing his older model stuff for about 5 years with no problems and the newer stuff is even better.

What do you reckon. Rancho's or Konis.
So they're panhard rods are pretty stong??
If you don't want the adjustable mild steel ones he also offers a chrome moly version for extra strength, nearly double the price though.

Looking at using the new tough dog shockies with the wizzard rods, dobbinson springs (4") etc.
You may wish to check with your insurance company and the engineer also.
For durability, the Koni wins hands down.

if your going to do a mix and match job you will have to measure up the correct length for the shocks with the new springs in place.
if you can get konis the right length then they are brilliant, i have ranchos because konis werent long enough but the koni's are a far better shock.
need to use the big $ bus shock in a koni for the length [up to 900mm long I think] valved to suit the application.

Cheezy Racing raises the front shock tower so that you can use a longer shock whithout damaging it on compression. Think with the extra weight the 4" lift would only raise it a bit over 2" fully loaded which should be wiothin the regs.
