What do you do to the front if you do 3/4 elliptic to the back? is it a good idea or a waste of time?

Shackle reversal and then probably accept less travel than the rear......OR just move on up to Coilovers if you've got a healthy credit card :)

I was told by 'slunnie' that 3/4 elliptic is no good on the front, if the back is done and there is not the same travel on the front, it means there is a better chane of rolling. :) no credit card either
hey tank,
personaly i'd get over the fact that the front won't flex as much, and marvel at the AWSOME rear wheel travel!! ;D ;D ;D
Cheers
semi eliptic are WOFTAM for anything but a buggy really.
Front spring shackle reversal is easy and cheap, and makes a big difference to ride, and allows different or longer springs to be used.
The rear can be made to travel, ot as far as 3/4 eli's, but you end up with so much travel the last bit has no spring tension and can allow momentum in the wrong situation which can produce a rollover.....

I muist admit that even though I've be playing with ideas to build my CJ5 into a comp rig - buggy (¾ elliptical) springs AREN"T on my list at any stage.....
So what would you suggest instead ???

I'm simply planing a SOA with a shackle reversal in the front end.....Mind you this is on a little CJ5 & I wouldn't want to lift much more than that or I'll end up endo-ing it :-X
