hey all. my 75 series runs out of rego in 2 weeks and is way passed salvation. so i have decided the best thing to do is wreck it as some stuff is worth saving. i am wanting to buy another chassis and start from scratch. the bit i need help with is the suspension/diff setup, as i want to put nissan gear underneath for the strength and coils. are there anyone in brisbane area who has done such a conversion??? thanx

In one of the older 4wd monthly books there was a cruzer with Nissan diffs but I just can't remember which one.
i think that you will find it will be illegal if you put coils underneath as the welding to chassis is illegal im pretty sure.

late last year Marks adapters put bundera solid/coils under the front of an torsion ifs surf. If u can legaly swap the torsion ifs for solid/coils, what u want to do should be peice of piss!

well the day came and my ute is now unregistered. a bit sad but cant wait to start hacking into it. after asking around i found most shops werent so keen. pussies. they wanted to throw 80 series gear underneath. bit of a conselation really. anyway, im onto a bloke who has similar idea. he is putting a hilux cab onto gq gear. he's a boily with a good rep so this is looking better. as i am left to drive my sisters rusty 200b things need to get moving!! will keep ya's posted.
