Newnes (which looks to now be fully booked out) & I have a trip near the end of the month to Barrington Tops area.

All looks good for this weekend for our Newnes trip with CC4WDC.
I am hoping to catch up with some of the guys from one of the other forums while we are out there as well.
The weather is on our side.

Friday
Rain periods, easing to showers in the west. Cool cloudy day.
Moderate southeast to southwest winds, fresh at times.

Saturday
Mainly fine. Cool to mild. Southwest winds.

Sunday
Fine. Mild. Northwest winds.

Monday
FIne. Mild. Northwest winds.

Cool, cloudy day with a few showers. Moderate south to southeast winds.

Terrible Billy Trek is on this weekend.

This is a bit different to your normal trip, in that I have caterred for the ladies as well with a market visit on the return through Maitland on Sunday.

The trip will be starting @ Ourimbah, where we will head to a property north of Dungog to set up camp.
From this camp, we will be heading north following mostly main forest tracks & explore 2 slightly more challenging tracks before breaking for lunch @ Teleghery Picnic Area.
From here we plan to head up to Mountain Rd, cross the Karuah River (which will be interesting after all of the rain that has fallen in the area in the last few weeks) then up to Terrible Billy.
From here to Berrico Rd, Buckets way, then we will follow Monkerai Rd to Trevor Tops Rd, then down a few bush tracks back to camp.

That covers all of the 4wding for the weekend.
I will post a quick write up & some pics next week when we get back.
